Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to appointments, consultations and treatments provided by COSTÍ CLINIC.

By booking an appointment with COSTÍ CLINIC, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

1. About COSTÍ CLINIC

COSTÍ CLINIC is a nurse-led aesthetics clinic providing aesthetic consultations, treatments and associated aftercare.

Legal name: Viviana Costigliola trading as COSTÍ CLINIC
Clinic address: 106 Beresford Avenue, Wembley, London HA0 1QJ
Email: info@costiclinic.co.uk
Telephone: +44 7593362110

Where these Terms refer to “we”, “us” or “our”, this means COSTÍ CLINIC.

“Client”, “patient”, “you” and “your” refer to the person booking or receiving services from COSTÍ CLINIC.

2. Consultations and Treatment Suitability

All treatments are subject to an appropriate consultation and assessment.

Booking and paying for an appointment does not guarantee that treatment will be provided.

Treatment may be declined, postponed or modified if, following assessment, we consider that:

  • the treatment is not clinically appropriate;
  • there is a contraindication;
  • your medical history or medication increases the risk of treatment;
  • informed consent cannot be obtained;
  • your expectations cannot reasonably be met;
  • further medical assessment is required;
  • treatment would fall outside the practitioner's professional competence or scope of practice; or
  • proceeding would not be in your best interests.

Where appropriate, we may recommend an alternative treatment or advise you to seek assessment from another healthcare professional.

Clinical decisions are made with patient safety as the priority.

3. Medical Information

You must provide complete and accurate information about your health before treatment.

This includes, where relevant:

  • medical conditions;
  • allergies;
  • medication;
  • pregnancy or breastfeeding;
  • previous aesthetic treatments;
  • previous complications or adverse reactions;
  • recent surgery or procedures; and
  • any change in your health since your consultation or previous treatment.

You must tell us if any relevant information changes before your appointment.

Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect whether treatment can safely proceed.

4. Informed Consent

No treatment will be carried out without appropriate consent.

Before treatment, we will explain relevant information including the nature of the proposed procedure, expected benefits, material risks, possible complications, alternatives and appropriate aftercare.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions before deciding whether to proceed.

You may change your mind and withdraw consent at any point before treatment begins.

Consent to treatment does not constitute consent for your photographs or videos to be used for advertising or social media.

5. Prescription-Only Treatments

Some treatments may involve prescription-only medicines and require assessment and prescribing by an appropriately qualified prescriber.

Where a prescription is required, treatment cannot proceed unless the relevant prescribing requirements have been satisfied.

For NMC independent nurse and midwife prescribers, the NMC requires a consultation and documented clinical assessment before prescribing medicines for elective non-surgical cosmetic procedures, including subsequent prescribing consultations.

Where COSTÍ CLINIC works with an independent prescriber, relevant information may be securely shared with that prescriber and, where necessary, the dispensing pharmacy in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

A prescription is never guaranteed simply because an appointment has been booked.

6. Age Restrictions

You must be 18 or over to book cosmetic botulinum toxin or cosmetic filler treatment with COSTÍ CLINIC.

In England, it is a criminal offence to administer botulinum toxin or cosmetic filler by injection for cosmetic purposes to someone under 18, and it is also an offence to make arrangements or book such treatment for a person under 18, subject to the specific statutory medical exception. Parental consent does not override this restriction.

We may request acceptable photographic proof of age before confirming an appointment and/or before treatment.

Examples may include:

  • passport;
  • photocard driving licence; or
  • another officially recognised proof-of-age document.

If satisfactory proof of age cannot be provided, treatment may be refused.

We reserve the right to refuse any identification we reasonably believe to be altered, fraudulent or unreliable.

7. Booking Appointments

Appointments can be booked through website/booking platform/telephone/etc.

Your appointment is not secured until any required booking fee has been paid and you have received confirmation.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the contact details supplied when booking are correct.

Appointment reminders are provided as a courtesy. Failure to receive a reminder does not remove your responsibility to attend or cancel your appointment within the applicable cancellation period.

8. Booking Fees

A booking fee may be required to secure your appointment.

The amount will be clearly shown before you confirm your booking.

Where treatment proceeds, the booking fee will normally be applied towards the cost of the booked service unless clearly stated otherwise before booking.

If you cancel late, fail to attend, or otherwise breach the booking conditions, some or all of the booking fee may be retained to the extent reasonably necessary to reflect losses arising from the cancelled appointment.

We will not impose cancellation charges that are disproportionate to the loss reasonably caused by the cancellation.

UK consumer guidance makes clear that excessive cancellation charges and automatic loss of all upfront payments may constitute unfair contract terms.

If COSTÍ CLINIC cancels your appointment and we cannot provide a suitable alternative, any amount paid for the cancelled service will be refunded where required.

9. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change.

Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment.

Where at least 48 hours' notice is given, your booking fee may normally be transferred to one replacement appointment, subject to availability.

The replacement appointment should normally be booked within 14 days of the original appointment, unless otherwise agreed.

Where less than 48 hours' notice is provided, we may retain an appropriate amount of the booking fee reflecting the loss caused by the cancellation, including where the appointment cannot reasonably be filled.

Repeated cancellations or rescheduling may require a new booking fee before another appointment is accepted.

This policy does not limit any statutory cancellation or refund rights that may apply to you.

10. Online and Telephone Bookings

Additional consumer cancellation rights may apply where a contract is entered into online, by telephone or otherwise at a distance.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove any statutory cooling-off or cancellation right that applies to your particular booking.

Where you specifically ask us to provide a service during an applicable statutory cancellation period, your cancellation rights may be affected only to the extent permitted by law.

The Consumer Contracts Regulations generally provide a 14-day cancellation period for many distance service contracts, subject to exemptions and rules concerning services begun or completed during that period.

11. Late Arrival

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

If you arrive late, we may need to:

  • shorten the appointment where it is clinically safe to do so;
  • provide only part of the planned service;
  • reschedule the appointment; or
  • cancel it if insufficient time remains to provide treatment safely.

Clinical safety will never be compromised in order to accommodate lateness.

Where the appointment cannot proceed because of substantial lateness, it may be treated in accordance with our late-cancellation policy.

12. Failure to Attend

If you fail to attend your appointment without notice, the booking fee may be retained to reflect the loss associated with the missed appointment.

A new booking fee may be required before another appointment is accepted.

Repeated non-attendance may result in COSTÍ CLINIC declining future bookings.

13. Cancellation by COSTÍ CLINIC

Occasionally, we may need to cancel or rearrange an appointment due to illness, practitioner availability, product availability, equipment failure, safety concerns or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where possible, we will provide as much notice as reasonably practicable.

You will normally be offered:

  • an alternative appointment; or
  • a refund of payments relating to the treatment we are unable to provide, where appropriate.

We are not responsible for indirect expenses such as travel, accommodation, childcare or loss of earnings unless the law requires otherwise.

14. Prices and Payments

Current treatment prices will be displayed on our website, booking system or otherwise communicated before treatment.

Prices may change from time to time.

The price applicable to your booking will be the price confirmed at the time of booking, unless an obvious pricing error has occurred or additional treatment is subsequently agreed with you.

Any additional treatment will be discussed and agreed before it is carried out.

Payment is due [at booking/on the day of treatment/as specified].

We accept: cash or card.

15. Offers and Promotions

Promotions and special offers may be subject to separate conditions.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • promotions cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • promotional prices apply only during the advertised period;
  • treatments remain subject to clinical suitability;
  • an offer does not guarantee that treatment will be provided; and
  • promotions cannot normally be combined with another offer.

Where treatment is clinically unsuitable, we will deal with any payment in accordance with applicable consumer law and the particular circumstances.

16. Treatment Results

Aesthetic treatment results vary between individuals.

Factors including anatomy, age, skin condition, lifestyle, metabolism, previous treatments and individual biological response can affect outcomes.

Although we will discuss realistic expectations, no particular aesthetic result, duration or degree of improvement can be guaranteed.

Before-and-after photographs used by COSTÍ CLINIC demonstrate individual outcomes and should not be taken as a guarantee that another person will achieve the same result.

This does not limit our legal obligation to provide services with reasonable care and skill. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 provides protections where services are not performed with reasonable care and skill.

17. Risks and Complications

All medical and aesthetic procedures carry potential risks.

Possible risks and complications relevant to your specific treatment will be discussed as part of the consultation and consent process.

You must follow the aftercare instructions provided to you and contact COSTÍ CLINIC promptly if you have concerns following treatment.

Some complications may require assessment, additional treatment, referral or emergency medical attention.

If you experience symptoms suggesting a medical emergency, you should seek urgent medical assistance rather than waiting for a response through social media, email or routine clinic messaging.

18. Aftercare and Follow-Up

You are responsible for following the aftercare instructions provided to you.

Where clinically appropriate, we may recommend or arrange a follow-up appointment.

You should notify us promptly of unexpected symptoms, concerns or complications.

Failure to follow reasonable aftercare advice may affect your treatment outcome.

19. Corrections, Reviews and Additional Treatment

Whether additional treatment is appropriate will be determined following clinical assessment.

A request for additional product or a treatment adjustment does not automatically mean that additional treatment will be provided free of charge.

Where further treatment is clinically appropriate, any applicable cost will be explained before treatment proceeds.

We will not administer additional treatment where we consider it unsafe, unnecessary or clinically inappropriate.

20. Refusal or Discontinuation of Treatment

COSTÍ CLINIC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue non-emergency treatment where reasonably necessary.

This may include circumstances involving:

  • clinical contraindications;
  • inappropriate or unsafe treatment requests;
  • abusive, threatening or discriminatory behaviour;
  • harassment of staff or other clients;
  • suspected fraud;
  • repeated failure to comply with reasonable clinic policies; or
  • breakdown of the professional therapeutic relationship.

Any decision to refuse treatment will be made fairly and consistently with applicable professional obligations.

21. Photography

Clinical photographs may be taken where appropriate for assessment, treatment planning and maintaining clinical records.

These photographs will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Identifiable photographs or videos will not be used for advertising, social media or promotional purposes without separate appropriate permission.

22. Personal Information

Your personal and medical information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By booking treatment, you acknowledge that certain information must be collected and maintained in order for us to assess your suitability for treatment and provide safe care.

Please read our Privacy Policy for details of how information is collected, used, stored and shared.

23. Intellectual Property and Website Content

Unless otherwise stated, the content of the COSTÍ CLINIC website, including text, branding, graphics, photographs and original materials, belongs to COSTÍ CLINIC or is used with permission.

You may use the website for personal and non-commercial purposes.

You must not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute or commercially exploit our original website content without prior permission, except where permitted by law.

24. Website Information

Information on our website and social-media pages is provided for general information and should not be regarded as individual medical advice.

Online information cannot replace an appropriate consultation and assessment.

Do not rely on website or social-media information to diagnose or treat a medical condition.

25. Complaints

We aim to provide a professional and safe service.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of your experience, please contact:

Email: info@costiclinic.co.uk
Telephone: +447593362110

Raising a complaint will not adversely affect your future care.

26. Our Professional Responsibilities

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

COSTÍ CLINIC and its healthcare professionals will continue to comply with applicable professional and legal obligations, including requirements concerning:

  • patient safety;
  • informed consent;
  • confidentiality;
  • appropriate record keeping;
  • competence;
  • professional indemnity; and
  • safe prescribing and medicines management where applicable.

These Terms cannot override the professional responsibilities of an NMC-registered practitioner.

27. Consumer Rights

We provide services in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that you have under legislation including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Where consumer law provides you with rights that differ from a provision in these Terms, your statutory rights take priority.

28. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices or applicable requirements.

The latest version will be published on our website with an updated revision date.

Changes will not retrospectively remove statutory rights relating to an existing contract.

29. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer protections or rights you may have concerning jurisdiction.
